Welcome to Pippbrook Bowls

Bowling is an enjoyable, sociable game, suitable for all ages.
It is not costly and can be enjoyed from the outset with the minimum of expense. The season runs from April to September and you can play throughout the day, seven days a week!
Instruction can be provided to help you learn or improve.

New Members

Why not try our sport?
Come and see why Sir Francis Drake enjoyed bowls so much that he insisted on finishing his game before setting off to defeat the Armada!

1. Our season is due to start in April and we have a couple of Open Days planned for June and July.
If you can't come along to either of those... No problem!

2. We have Open House sessions on Friday evenings throughout the season.
You can't make any of those? No problem!

3. We can agree another time for you to try bowls.

We can provide help to learn and develop real skills. So you have no excuse for not getting in touch.

Junior Members

We aim to build an active Junior section at Pippbrook, catering for both boys and girls.
Would you and your friends be interested in giving the sport a try?

Who knows... You could be a future champion!

Clubhouse

The new roof is now in place at our clubhouse.
With thanks to A. E. Hughes and Sons (Contracts) Ltd for a job carried out very smoothly to time and to budget.

Also a VERY BIG THANK YOU, from all our members, to Surrey Community Foundation and the Grassroots Grants (managed by the Community Development Foundation, and funded by the Office of the Third Sector) for their Grant support which enabled us to have the work undertaken and carry forward our plans for the development of Pippbrook Bowling Club.

Thanks also to staff at Mole Valley District Council for their advice and support.

About the club...

Pippbrook is a public club which was founded in 1937 and can be found next to the library behind the Mole Valley District Council offices in Reigate Road, Dorking. We are an approved Community Amateur Sports Club.
